Ashley Pickin grew up in Hampton, Virginia. She knew from the age of 7 that she wanted to be an artist, and ended up getting a Bachelors Degree in Sculpture and 3D Media Studies from Old Dominion University. After college, she realized that face painting (which she had paid for school with) was her true passion and decided to go at it full time. She now lives with her balloon twisting husband, Ryan, and two dogs in her hometown, where they watch cartoons, paint, and twist balloons to their hearts content!
