Corey Morgan was born in White Plains, NY, but now resides in Maryland after attending Howard University where he met his wife of 17 years. Corey got introduced to face painting in 2006 after taking his daughter to a birthday party where a face painter was performing. Immediately deciding “I can do that!” Corey found out where the painter got her supplies from and began painting on his own.Now the owner and lead artist at Mr. Corey’s face painting, Corey has carved out a unique niche for himself in the face painting community by incorporating his lifelong love of comic book art into creating new and innovative superhero inspired designs for both boys and girls of any age. Corey loves painting at parties and festivals where he can combine his love of working with children, as well as a positive attitude and his skills as an amateur standup comedian to put people at ease in his chair, as well as entertain the people still waiting in line to be painted.For Corey, face painting isn’t just painting a design on a child’s face, but an experience for both kids and adults to enjoy even while they’re waiting for their turn.
