Deborah Brommer started Desdemona's Designs along with Ohio Body Art in 2000 as a Henna Artist after visiting Morocco and discovering the ancient art of Henna. With her BFA from Ohio University, and a background in Theatre and Acting, moving on to Theatrical Make Up, Face and Body Painting and other temporary body decoration were natural progressions. Using only safe and professional products, Deborah uses theatrical grade make-up for face and body painting, professional body-art airbrush paint, cosmetic grade glitters, and 100% natural henna. Deborah is a Board Member of the ICNHA (International Certification for Natural Henna Artists), has published design books for Body Artists and has travelled the world teaching, competing, and displaying her body art.
