As a child, Dara Lightle loved anything that was bright and glittered. She loved wearing mismatched Converse shoes and bright obnoxious clothes. As a teenager, she enjoyed making collages from magazine pictures, painting clothes, and making mix tapes. She doodled endlessly on anything and everything. As an adult, God has helped her find a place where she can apply the talent He gave her…on skin! This has become her passion. She loves creating hand-drawn tattoos and watching the art flourish on skin, while leaving a smile on young and old that is priceless. What started as a birthday party for her 6-year-old daughter grew into a passion within months. Equipped with only glitter and body glue, she swept the neighborhoods with sparkle and fun. Henna was soon added to her repertoire. Within a couple years, she found herself absorbed in long-lasting, temporary body art and looking for ways to better her craft, drawing on creativity from the Creator.Currently, Dara is teaching workshops and classes to a growing number of body art enthusiasts. She makes it her priority to help others learn new ways to broaden their clientele and expand their artistic abilities. Her motto is Graffiti for the Skin. On her website, tatattack.com or Facebook page, you can find her art on a preschool child, prom queen, new bride, or even a great-grandparent.
