Hi my “painty” friends! My name is Ilse Kusters, I live in Belgium (Europe) and am a happily married mommy of three.“Art” has always been a very important part of my life. As a child I was always making drawings and was fascinated by color. Later, I went to Art School, where I studied “Graphic Design”.I was introduced to face paint at a very young age because one of my relatives worked as a tailor for the theatre. At age 11 I got my very first face paint palette and have been in love with this beautiful form of Art ever since.Nothing can possibly be more precious to an artist than a canvas that actually smiles back at you. As a face painter I feel very privileged to have the power to totally transform a person into any kind of character they would like or even dream of.Because practice makes perfect, I took a lot of classes given by the very best in the industry and still very much enjoy to learn and by inspired by everyone or even everything that crosses my path.After many years of hard work and dedication, I am the proud owner of my own creative business, -MyLumen.Art-. I do not only offer face & body art, special makeup or glitter tattoos, but also paint murals, do handlettering & window paintings, draw portraits and so much more…I absolutely love to teach workshops on an international scale, as I know from experience that sharing is caring.I am a big believer that ‘Art’ is at it’s very best when shared with others.
