Sacramento face painter, Lisa Young, is the owner of the lisajoyyoung channel on YouTube and Illusion Face Art (her Sacramento based company). Lisa has always had a love for art. Classes in high school and college included drawing, painting, ceramics, and jewelry making. After becoming a stay at home mom, she discovered that she could earn extra money for the family through her art by designing scrapbook pages for paper companies and painting murals. Soon after having her 2nd child, Lisa discovered her love for face painting and the joy it brought to her children. She began working under Donna Hofstee with All Ways Entertainment and painting aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ships. After moving to the Sacramento area, Lisa decided to start her own company and Illusion Face Art was born. After becoming established in her area, Lisa created the lisajoyyoung channel on YouTube to share her knowledge of face painting with other artists and help them to become successful in the field she had grown to love. Because of her clean style and thorough teaching techniques, Lisa’s face painting channel soon became a popular place for face painters to learn new techniques and designs. Face painting has been an exciting adventure for Lisa and she has enjoyed every minute of it!
