Pashur has been creating art since childhood. His desire to create amazing images led him to Memphis College of Art. Graduating with a degree in design arts, Pashur had a successful career as a graphic designer and humorist illustrator before discovering body art over 15 years ago. Pashur helped pave the way for the modern body paint industry with his first image, a pregnant cyborg incubating a cyborg baby fondly named “MotherBoard”. Since then Pashur has been instrumental in the main stream inclusion of bodypainting in current media. Known throughout the world for his incredible talent, and known as the “Picasso of Body Painting”, Pashur continues to create unparallel works of art and inspire artists around the globe, and his influence can be seen throughout the industry. Past projects include dozens of Playboy Mansion parties that eventually allowed Pashur to bring in other bodypainters as supporting artists so they too could share in his success. Other clients include The Spike TV Video Game Awards hosted by Jack Black and Samuel L. Jackson. He has been featured in hundreds of national and international magazines and publications – in fact, in 2009 he was published in Playboy four times. Pashur has also worked on the marketing campaigns of dozens of big name clients such as Animal Planet, Brooks & Dunn, and Bermuda Tourism to name a few. Despite his incredibly busy body painting schedule Pashur has also found time to become one of the most popular face paint instructors, teaching amazing practical designs to face painters around the world, along with debuting an entire line of products. These products have been sweeping the industry, his creative tool the “X-Ray” being named the best new product of 2010 and featured in Makeup Artist magazine! Pashur is looking forward to the exciting years to come in the industry, and has several surprises up his sleeve!
